Wakfu: Loyalties - Atonement
It took effort, patience and precision to remove the three blocks of ice from the high wall, the procedure needed to be done carefully and calculated to not have the whole collection of neatly stacked ice crash down upon the ones who were trying to free those trapped. There were many questions which nobody had an answer to, not even after the ice blocks which held the master of Bonta and his two feline companions were removed from the wall and placed down for closer inspection.
The Brotherhood of Tofu was divided, not by different opinions but by tasks. Yugo had set out to find anything which could prove useful enough to warm up those imprisoned in the ice while Evangelyne and Amalia remained with the children and the two Dofus to keep an eye out for trouble, although it was very quiet; nobody had come up to Harebourg's trophy room to try and stop them after the wedding had been canceled with Yugo's interference and the truth
Wakfu: Loyalties - Reclamation
The shock of Harebourg's revelation to abuse the Dofus had brought everything to a momentary standstill but it didn't last long as all prepared themselves for the fight which was undoubtedly to come. Weapons were drawn and held at the ready, the distaste for the direction the situation was going in prominent on the faces of the Brotherhood members, all except for Amalia's.
The Sadida princess was struggling with accepting count Harebourg's offer, his plan to save both Frigost and Sadida very tempting yet morally wrong. His words had hit many weak spots and concerns, having her form sympathy and understanding for Frigost's standing. She knew what it was like to be shunned by the other rulers; most of the Council of Twelve would rather forget about Sadida than try to protect it. Wasn't it the same for Frigost, the island which had been left at its mercy for years? Harebourg could save her people if only she were to give on, but at wh

Beneath The Ice
The journey to Frigost went by swiftly, perhaps a little too swift for some. Everyone had their own reasons to not look forward to reaching the island of Frigost while others felt a tinge of excitement to visit the frozen place which count Harebourg ruled over. What was once a prosperous nation with a harvest which rivalled that of Amakna had become nothing but a snowy wasteland in which the chances of survival were low to nonexistent… and all because of one man's ambitions and a rivalry between two Protectors of the Months.
There had been many heart to hearts during the ride in Ruel's modified digger, all attempts to mentally prepare those involved with the arranged marriage but nothing could stop the anxiety, not even when the night crawled in and it was time to get some sleep. There were many mixed feelings and opinions about what was to happen but one thing was for certain; there was no turning back.
Slugterra - Babylon Thrum - Prologue: ChangesThere was something passed Gateway Cavern, in the place those of the Western 99 Caverns knew only as the Outland Reach. Most people would argue that there was nothing there, just an expansive wasteland of little to no sentient habitation. Rumors had piled over the years, twisted to say that not even Slugs lived out there. It was dead land, the ground was sullied and poisoned. A place of nightmares and monsters.
More unsettling, perhaps, was the attitude the people who lived in the little backwater cavern that bordered it had toward it. Gateway was known for being friendly and hospitable to visitors, having few from the main caverns enter their town. Mentioning the Reach changed people, though. They would neither confirm nor deny any claims, but would only smile knowingly with glints in their eyes, as though hiding a secret. Even their local guardian, a showman Slinger known only as the King of Sling, avoided defining what was true or false. It was almost like the entire cavern had star
Snow Storm 'Fubuki' SlugsPowers
Ice Aura- Coats opponent or opponent's slugs in a layer of ice
Cyro Bomb- Ice explosive, similar to that of a Blastipede, however these cause icicle to form wherever they hit once activated by a slug in Protoform
Cyro Phase-Phases through objects blocking it's path, freezing them to shattering point
Cyro Claw- Project and retract razor-sharp ice claws
Freezing Kiss- blows a blast of snow at an opponent that may freeze an opponent's slugs without harming them
Frostbite-Bites down on an opponent's slug, causing a temporary paralysis
Ice Blast/Ball- A blast of icy/snowy energy
Though one would expect Snow Storm or "Fubuki" slugs to some, to reside in cold climates, they thrive in warmer climates which can regulates their ice energies. Very few Slingers are able to control their immense amounts of Slug energy. This causes many to avoid Snow Storm slugs, as they are much too powerful for an untrained or inexperience
The voice broke her out of her daze.
She'd been sitting alone under the mushroom tree, tears falling down her face. He knew when she was this way it meant she was remembering her birth parents.
''Alright...tell me what's on your mind little one,'' He sat down beside her .
But the little girl remained silent.
"I know it hurts to talk about it...but allow me to explain how talking about it helps..."
She peeked at him through her bangs.
'It helps to talk...because if we keep in our hurt...it eventually hurts us more. Remember when you hurt your hand and tried to act like it didn't? And eventually you cried?"
He received a small nod.
"Well, it's kinda like that. You eventually need to have some way of getting rid of the hurt. Are you ready to talk?"
Two small arms hugged him out of no where. She hid her face in his chest as more tears fell. A faint smile was on his lips.
''Sometimes you don't need to talk...Sometimes you just need somebody who'll be ther
Scarred ShaneShe never expected to see scars on his back.
She'd only entered the room to leave some food for her guests. She always did this.
Never did she expect to see him without his shirt. Neither did she expect to find scars on his back, his sides, his shoulder...
They looked like lashes on his skin, as if the skin has been sliced open.
Her breath was shaking as she tried to think of how he could have earned these scars.
There was a soft sound of the plate of food being left on a table of the house. The door of the guest house closed behind her.
The scars remained in the back of her mind.
